"Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord," Psalm 150:3-6.
The Music Ministry team invites you to come and take part in the diverse musical groups listed below. The times spent together in fellowship, prayer, and giving our hearts to the Lord will leave you feeling refreshed with a heart filled with God's presence.
The Handbell choir of Good Shepherd plays a diverse range of music, spanning from Level 1 to Level 3. They offer their praises in church once a month during the 8:30 and 10:00 service, plus on special occasions. The handbell choir has a lot of fun rehearsing and learning new techniques and songs. Reading music is not a requirement to join this ensemble! We rehearse Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm, September through June, with two large concerts at the end of each season. Kylie Johnson is the director. Soli deo gloria.
The vocal choir of Good Shepherd sings a variety of four-part choral anthems, offering their praises during church twice a month during the 8:30 and 10:00 services, plus on special occasions. Similar to the handbell choir, our members - young and old, experienced and novice - truly enjoy singing their praises to God and enhancing the worship experience for their brothers and sisters in Christ. We rehearse Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00pm, September through June, with two large concerts at the end of each season. Kylie Johnson is the director. Soli deo gloria.
The Worship Team is a contemporary worship team for the weekly Sunday morning contemporary service. Practice is on Thursday evenings. The team consists of guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and piano. JD Leonard leads the team. This team loves to praise God in spirited song and welcomes new members!
Opportunities are available for those who feel called to share their musical gifts as an offering of worship. Contact Kylie Johnson for further information.

There are open spots for both Saturday and Sunday services. Side by side training will be provided until you are comfortable. Must be 13 years of age to volunteer.
We are happy to find a place for you according to your gifts and talents! Contact Kylie Johnson for any information regarding music at Good Shepherd!
